nothing exciting to report here. as far as the friend's friend goes, who is now my good friend, i love him cause he is the nicest guys you'll meet (you guys would all like him lots). but, he is too Pete-like in many ways. super mellow, would let me yell at him lots, had a decent job (graphic designer), but i dont see him being able to buy me polo horses nor yachts nor platinum jewelry anytime soon. and dahlings, thats absolutely a requirement! so, he's not too much of an option, unfortunately. i like to take him and ex-hookup friend out together, cause then it makes me look horribly desirable, hanging out with 2 boys.

well hello....

hey darlings. or i should say "dahlings." i'm devouring the newest Candace Bushnell book right now (Sex in the City author), and am all obsessed with being rich and glamorous and shallow..... her books are really only one step above bad romance novels, but they're impossible to put down.

my weekend wasn't worth recapping, not much happened. i went to "town" (which means the twilight zone that is Twin Falls) with Jason. he was the one i had a weird hook-up period with when i first moved here, but we both had unresolved long-distance relationships happening at the same time, so the whole thing imploded. in retrospect, it was probably a good thing, as he is a strange one. but, strangely, i do like hanging out with him. but i also like hanging out with one of his best friends, so hopefully that awkward triangle will keep me from slipping back into any previous dubious hooking behaviour.

Heathy, I'm glad you had fun last night, sorry for my crabby IM this morning, I'm obviously struggling a bit. Nat, is this week all finals??? I might send you a fun treat to keep you going.... Lisa, whats the latest with yr house? is it closed yet? it seem sthat you may be moved in before Jason, right? And Alex, we haven't heard from you since you called up all sluts and then mysteriously dissapeared....... hmmm.

ROCK THE MIZZIKE!!!

hey kids.

so, last night. its was for shizzel. we had so much fun. i ended up going with my friends Ben (who I work with) and his girlfriend Nicole. on the way, we unfortunately got stuck in gnarly traffic (by Boise standards) caused by some crazy 4 car pile up. it ended up taking us like 4 hours to get there. so, we got there late and missed what was going to be our official tour of the Idaho Center by the guy who hooked us with tickets. which wasn't necessarily bad since it cut back on the sales talk. so, when we got there we got to head straight upstairs to the "Cowboy Club"/skybox. they fed and boozed us while we watched the first 2 acts. then Snoop came on, and we suddenly weren't so good at listening to the sales pitch anymore. we headed down to our seats about halfway through his set. we had a great view, not super-close, but nice. Snoop has the mad steeze goin'. he actually ended up being my favorite of all the acts--he's so freakin' funny and just mellow. all the acts had these films playing while they were on stage--they were surprisingly low-quality, and basically consisted of commercials and little self-promo films... an interesting lesson in marketing to the hip hop crowd.... anyways, 50 cent was rad, Jay Z was rad, but a little long... overall it was awesome, i'm so exhausted today. Ben was a trooper and gamely drove us home through the wee hours of the nite. one of the things that entertained us most was that since we had some VIP privledges we kept coming across all these groupies that were either trying to gain access to somewhere they weren't supposed to be, or were hovering around waiting for autographs. and they were all dressed up like hizzoes. funny stuff. i'm ready to go home and take a NAP.

hi my little blogglings. how are things? i'm eating quiche and am counting down the hours 'til my ghetto-fabulous journey to Boise to see Jay Z, Snoop and 50 Cent. Whup whup. it shall be vastly entertaining.

as usual i'm avoiding work, i'm quite the pro at not-working.

it is hot as shit here. yesterady it got to 102, and mind you we're at 5850 feet, which means it should be a hell of a lot cooler than it is..... last night i had to go downstairs at 11pm, turn on the bathtub to as cold as it could get and soak my feet. i was freaking out from being so hot...... YUK.

PYT is for the glorious Micheal Jackson song that we love so. 'member we boogied down to it recently at Nat's crazy 21st dance party. I'm trying to get it to say that where it says "title", for some reason i cant ditch that dumb thing....

Alex, you have been watching too much Sex and the City, you sound like Samantha. But, I do concur. There's this ghetto gas station that i drive past every day to and from work, and they always have whatever the current Powerball pot is up there. I always look at it and think, what would i do with x million dollars......? i could keep myself plenty occupied, that's for sure.

anyways, rock on! hopefully we'll get Nat and Heath up and running right quick.
